  Notes	Thomas, was born 1 May 1782 in Coventry. Thomas was initially enrolled as a watchmaker's apprentice on 26 Mar 1796 to James Patterson of Coventry and secondly to Thomas Egginton on 12 April 1799 in Coventry. He was admiited as a Freeman of Coventry on 30 Aug 1803 but by this time, he had moved to Nottingham. Thomas married Elizabeth Bardwell (probably a relative of Mary Bardwell ?) on 19 Mar 1805 in St Peter's Cathedral, Sheffield. Honor Bardwell Horsfall was their first child, baptised 22 Feb 1806 in Derby; their second child, Mary Gaskill Horsfall, baptised 27 Nov 1807 in Hyde in Lancashire; their third child , Thomas Bardwell Horsfall, baptised 16 Jan 1811 in Shoreditch, London.
